TRANSPORTSecTec – Transport Security Technology – is published in English and its content is supported by Ministries of Transport, Infrastructure and Homeland Security worldwide as well as the International Transport Forum (ITF), part of the OECD, and TAPA Transported Asset Protection Association.
The ITF is an intergovernmental organisation with 57 member countries and the ITF Annual Summit in late May every year in Leipzig, Germany, is the world’s largest gathering of transport ministers and is the leading global platform for dialogue on transport policy of which security is a major component.
TAPA is the internationally recognized leader in the fight against cargo crime. The association has more than 800 members and three primary branches worldwide: TAPA AMERICAS, TAPA EMEA and TAPA APAC.
In 2017 published twice a year and in 2018 planned with three issues, copies of TransportSecTec are sent to over 16,000 senior professionals working in Governmental Departments of Transport, Interior, Infrastructure as well as Security services, Police & Law Enforcement, operators of ports, airports & public transport systems – road, rail, aviation and maritime – as well as senior management in industry, logistics, traffic, ICT, energy and water supply. Printed copies are also distributed to delegates and visitors to key government events such as the transport logistic & air cargo europe, ITF-Summit, TOC Europe, inter airport europe and other associated transport and security trade shows.
